Josh McEachran Football Academy – Further Education Programme
At the Josh McEachran Football Academy, we offer an exceptional blend of academic achievement and elite football development for students aged 16–18. Our full-time programme delivers a high-quality education alongside professional-level training, giving aspiring players the opportunity to experience life as a professional footballer.

ACADEMIC PATHWAY

We believe in developing both the player and the person. Our students receive a strong academic foundation paired with a football training schedule designed to mirror a professional environment. UEFA Licensed coaches lead high-intensity sessions five days a week, Monday to Friday. 

Students can achieve a range of nationally recognised qualifications, including:

BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport (Performance & Excellence)

FA Level 1 and Level 2 Certificates in Coaching

First Aid and Safeguarding certifications

GCSE English and Maths (if required)

HOW TO JOIN

Each academic year, we offer a limited number of squad places – just 25 spots are available. Entry is selective and based on:

Attendance at one of our Open Days / Evenings

A successful interview

A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades 4–9

Interviews are conducted following each Open Day / Evening.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

We recommend you have 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including Maths and English, to be best suited for this programme.

AGE:

For 16-18-year olds

COST:

The cost of this tuition is fully funded for 16-18-year old’s.

Sports kit will be required. However, bursary/financial support is available for those eligible.

Our fully trained teaches are always on hand to support you with your course. We also can support students with retaking Maths and English exams if needed.

Elite Coaches

Our Uefa A and B coaches keeps your practical training engaging whilst keeping it within the curiculum. You will compete within the tactics league as part of your course.
